The history of "Loulis Mills" begins in Aetorachi of Ioannina when, in 1782, Zois Loulis settles in the area and builds a small stone mill. In 1898 the brothers Christos, Konstantinos & Nikos Loulis settle in liberated Volos. Following that, they lease Xydis steam mill and start their own business.

In 1914 they buy a share of the rolling mill I. Xydis - N. Hatzinikos.
Then the first brand is born with the name Loulis as co-owner and in 1917, the Mill becomes the full ownership of the Loulis family.

Designed based on the standards of the time, the new sign is simple and modest.
With only the name and location of the company as well as the date station, 1917, when the Loulis brothers officially acquire their own flour mill.

Based on the style of the time, the new mark remains simple, with calligraphic letters.
It gained more and more dynamism and recognition. In 1951, the company was listed on the Stock Exchange and prints its first shares under this trademark.

The responsibility of the company passes to the fifth generation.
Nikolaos K. Loulis decides that the time has come to change the brand. Thus, in 1960, Kylindromylos Loulis appears with a new logo that stands out for its clarity and simplicity and remains in force for the next five years.

The management of the company is taken over by Konstantinos N. Loulis.
He decides to build a new Mill in the Industrial area of Volos. Then, the rapid growth of the company begins and the brand changes. The family name is placed in the center and two stars surround the word "Volos".

The next logo is created in 1980, when for the first time the shield appears on the company's mark, symbolically bearing three cobs.
The cobs are accompanied by a half impeller of the traditional water mill. The new logo also features the company's name and initially with a star symbolizing the activity of Loulis Mills in Greece. From 1995 to 2000 the company operates in three other countries (Romania, Bulgaria, Albania), at which time the stars of the brand become four, while at the same time in each of them the company acquires its own brand.

The turn of the millennium finds the company now multinational in activity.
This necessitates changing the sign and writing the name LOULIS in Latin characters.

In 2014, under the management of Nikos K. Loulis, the company acquires a new brand.
The shield and half wing remain, the color chosen for the badge is gold and gray to automatically refer to the color of wheat and the Greek land. Honoring the family tradition, the year that Zois Loulis creates the first stone mill is written on the new sign. The three ears of corn remain, but each of them now has 7 fruits as many generations of millers of the Loulis family.

The new brand embraces all the products that our company now produces and distributes.
Inspired by the cob, which is the root of our company while also referring to human nutrition. The shape is also reminiscent of hearts thus depicting the love and passion we put into the production and supply of raw materials for nutrition. It consists of 7 shapes, where one grows through the other, thus depicting the 7 generations of the Loulis family and the employees who have contributed to the development and success of the company. The Loulis name has always been the identity of our quality and what stands out, while the phrase "food ingredients" includes the family of products we produce and stock.
