The three Flour Day events, focusing on flour and organised by Loulis Mills at its premises in Sourpi, Magnisia and Keratsini, Attica, were a great success.
The rapid developments in the food industry, the legislation concerning food hygiene and safety issues, and the fierce competition that pushes companies to constantly evolve their products, have led to increased demands in the food industry. With the aim of providing information to professionals in the industry, Loulis Mills decided to organise a “Flour Day” event, where guest speakers from TÜV Austria Hellas and Nielsen, as well as Loulis Mills executives, discussed various topics.
At the event, a representative of Nielsen Company talked about food consumption trends, while an executive of TUV Austria talked about the latest developments in legislation regarding quality assurance issues, and many other topics were discussed as well, such as proper flour management or issues concerning Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Product Development Managers.
The participants also had the opportunity to tour the industrial unit facilities of Loulis Mills, the Museum, and the Greek Baking School.
