Loulis Mills is a gold sponsor at the first Bakery Awards

On Tuesday, 15 February, the Awards Ceremony of the Bakery Awards 2022 took place at Radisson Blu Park Hotel, organised by BOUSSIAS. For the first time in Greece, bakery products, services, shops and the bakery industry, received awards and recognition. At the Awards Ceremony, a total of 25 companies in the industry received awards for their innovation and the quality of their products or shops. The Bakery Awards 2022 were sponsored by our company, Loulis Mills, now with 2 centuries of continuous presence in the domestic market and the leader of the flour milling industry in Greece. It was a great honour for our company to be there and support these awards that took place for the first time in our country. We are especially proud that the majority of the award winners are customers of ours. One of our strategic priorities for 7 generations has been customer focus, and every one of our actions is evidence of that. We constantly support their efforts, we are by their side to fulfill their every need, and every one of our moves is aimed at improving the services we provide them, so that everyone can be competitive in a constantly changing market, in line with modern consumer needs. In a brief statement on the evening of the awards, Mr. Nikos Loulis, Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors, said that one of the nutritional trends the company is focusing on is a consumer shift to healthier habits, “treating food as a means of prevention, like medicine before medicine,” he added. “We were among the first companies to launch products in this direction, such as bread with a low glycemic index and gluten-free products, while six months ago we launched the new Polikarpo flour for consumers. Now, we are launching our new five-cereal self-raising flour, always following modern nutritional trends.”
