The familys’ wish to make the collection accessible to the public and the strategic decision of Loulis Mills, as part of its Corporate Responsibility, to focus its social input in education, resulted in the creation, in 2012, of the Loulis Museum in the historic St. George Mills building in Keratsini.

The Museums’ vision is to preserve the history and tradition of wheat cultivation and processing, to record the role and importance of bread in various aspects of everyday life over time, to showcase the importance of the Mediterranean diet as a lifestyle and an element of civilization and to raise awareness of environmental and dietary issues.

The Museum aims to:

  • approach the history and tradition of nutrition culture.
  • provide information about the benefits of a balanced diet.
  • raise awareness among the public about the phenomenon of food waste and loss, its impacts and how to address it.
  • to showcase the great industrial heritage of milling processing in Greece.

The operation of Loulis Museum links the company with its social and cultural work in a transparent and effective manner while also enhancing its communication with the public.

It operates from 2013 with a complete educational program and material and contains:

  • Significant collection of 500 holy bread stamps
